April 1st: Doctor's Who Back!

Or rather, it came back yesterday, at about 9am for those of us here in GMT 11+, but never mind that! :)

Not going to lie, despite the fact that so much has been going on recently in the world of uni life etc. Doctor Who coming back, with the very lovely Jenna-Louise Coleman as the brand new companion, is is totally the most exciting, bubbly-making, fangirling post-worthy event in a while!

Disclaimer: There may be spoilers from this point onwards.

Suffice to say, 'The Bells of St John' was an awesome come back episode to continue Series 7 of Doctor Who complete with the typical Whovian madness - monk tech support in a cave in 1207, inexperienced plane-flying, twitter jokes, snogging booths, anti-gravity motor bikes and mysterious alien consciences living in Wi-Fi - and totally worth all the hype that always leads up to every Doctor Who return.

This episode, especially when the Doctor and Clara ride through London on his motorbike, inexplicably reminded me of a similar scene with Billie Piper and David Tenant in 'The Idiot's Lantern' in all their vintage fabulousness <3

Still frustrating as to the unanswered question of Oswald's identity as the "woman twice dead" made particularly MORE cryptic by Clara's Wi-Fi password "RYCBAR123" = "Run you clever boy and remember" blaah! So many theories!

And as every good, semi-review/reaction post has -- my favourite quotes from this episode! :3

Clara:  What is that box, anyway?  Why have you got a box?  Is it like a snogging booth?
The Doctor:  A what?
Clara:  Is that what you do?  You bring a booth?  There’s such a thing as too keen.

The Doctor I’m the Doctor, I’m an alien from outer space, I’m a thousand years old, I’ve got two hearts and I can’t fly a plane! Can you?

The Doctor Right.  Don’t be a monk.  Monks are not cool!
